Owner Review!
So that I've been able to break this knife in and EDC it's time to show the truth about Benchmades.
Quality: The build quality is decent steel liners milled out, G10 is just G10, D2 is a great steel, the AXIS lock piece seems to made of steel, Hell you even get a soft little pouch AXIS Lock: Once broken in and not adjusting the pivot the pivot the AXIS lock can be quite smooth even though it's on washers, The AXIS lock is by far probably one of the most complicated systems to take a part and reassemble Pocket Clip: Could be deeper carry but it's nice and sturdy Steel: Although it's not sharp enough to cut hair it's easily going to cut through flesh, I've cut myself plenty of times due to the smoothness and sharpness, D@ is a great and durable steel but it's not the best when it comes to corrosion but that's what others are for Weight: I prefer heavier and larger knives so it's not a heavy knife and size is fine It's an open back construction use barrel spacers/ standoffs so very easy to clean Detent: Here it comes... The detent is horrendous unless you tighten this knife up to the point where it's not smooth you're going to have absolutely no problem flicking this knife open with little effort
Overall it's not a bad knife but it's still overpriced Benchmade's quality control is horrendous and they don't care, they're also very anti disassembly which is another reason not to buy from them.
If you want proof that I own the knife check my drops and you'll see I participated in a drop for this knife, It was last drop actually....

HowAmIAlso will mention that the detent is horrendous, you can easily push it out with little force just by holding the handles and shaking or push throwing.
