Why tf would anyome spend 80 on a pocket knife? I have a handmade in spain katana that i got for 100 and its a work of art on top of being ready to use for self defense. This knife doesnt seem worth it to me at all. Just the opinion of a knife and sword collector. (maybe a little biased as i absolutely despise flip knives, so impractical)

WapapaYes, Spain is known for it's long history of producing quality katanas. If you think you're going to use a katana reliably for self defence, you're an idiot. More expensive knives use quality materials, ensuring the knife will be usable for years and years. Also folding knives aren't impractical. I mean sure, if some evil samurai roll up to your house looking to steal your girl, then sure, a folding knife isn't going to be very useful to fight him to the death for the honor of your family. But for the 99% of people who aren't undercover ninjas, that carry knives to use on a daily basis, a folding knife is more practical.
