Is this scarf actually made in Scotland using wool from Scottish sheep? Or is Hogarth using Chinese sheep and manufacturing? The Hogarth website doesn't say explicitly where their wool comes from or where the manufacturing is done other than alluding to "our love for knitted and woven techniques keeps us c l o s e r to home in beautiful Scotland." Furthermore, Hogarth doesn't list an 80/20 blend Cashmere scarf anywhere on their website.
The Royal Speyside cashmere scarf drop was from China w/ all the legal caveats (as I understand it) allowing Royal Speyside to claim some level of 'Scottishness' , but it was also 100% cashmere and less than half the price of this one.
