Just finished using my Foam Cannon kit for the first time today. Cleaned my Saturn Sky, Mustang GT, and dad's F-350. The Sky, being a more weekend ride for me, cleaned up up extremely easy and quickly. Most of what was on it was just the dust from sitting in a garage that it gets over time. The foam seemed to rinse that off quite well, some mitt use across the windows and all the surfaces to just be sure with a rinse was all it needed to clean up exceptionally well.
The Mustang was also rather easy. The foam goes on well and if you work quick, usually will stay on long enough to get the mitt across, however it was drying a bit faster at this time (I was also getting slower as it was car #3 and I am beat from Snowmobiling yesterday). I would have to jet some more foam on parts that dried a bit fast as well as come back and jet/wash/rinse some parts that were really dirty (behind the back tires with all the grime they throw up on the rear side). It hasn't been washed in like a month so that is to be expected from a DD.
The F-350 was the worst for this. While the foam goes on nice, the road grime from the recent snow plow clearings does not come off with any soap on its own. (Salty crap that it is) so a lot of foam/wash/rinse was needed to do in sections as the thing is just too big to scrub quickly after foaming and too dirty to want to rub too much with a mitt between rinse.
The Soap itself seems to be rather good however but also you will use a bit more than normal bucket washing with the cannon. You can dilute it in the sprayer or adjust the dial on the cannon to reduce the use but for the most part I did like the level of suds I was getting out of it. It doesn't mix water into the soap container like some cheap sprayers do, it is more like the Mr. Clean Car Wash sprayer from years back that did ok for mixing soap and water that I used for a few years, however this thing does Foam a lot more which is nice.
Overall I am happy with the kit, the included accessories are pretty good, (Need a new hose to use with the quick disconnects) but it is easy to quick swap the cannon on and off the sprayer as needed and the drying towel is amazingly good compared to all the "Microfiber Drying Towels" I have purchased in the past. This one actually absorbs water instead of just pushing it around.
