Support for Alternative Layouts
This is a summary of how alternative layouts have been supported by kits such as Colevrak and Homing. 1. Topre spacebars that you don't need to waste your time colour matching if you plan on putting Laser on an MX slider'd HHKB/Leopold/Realforce. Pain in the ass to modify the space bar, need to 3D print housings etc, fuck that.
2. GMK shines easily, having a space bar like this is a great idea even for your MX board - WASD/QWERDF/12345 too if you play a lot of games (as tons of people do), having HKP's artisans or just blank PBT caps in place of those keys has saved me a ton of shiny GMK keys over the years.
PS: Not saying everyone has to find them cool looking, just explaining they actually serve a purpose.
