The compartment (it's a flat, suede pocket) is about 9" high x 15.5" wide.
If your laptop is, say, 14" wide (across the front), it will fit fine.
You could probably go wider than that but it might be a tight fit at first: The pocket will stretch over time according to whatever you put in it.

I was about to pull the trigger on a Ted Baker cross-grain bag. I love that cross-grain look but this looks far more polished, high end and professional for "snazzier" days at the office. Anyone who owns it, does the wax process take a while? How often do you have to slather wax on? If the upkeep isn't crazy, I'm in!

frankdatank81I have used the briefcase everyday for a month or so. The leather came highly conditioned. I dont see any change in that aspect and reckon it will take at least a few more months for conditioning.

I just received my Salisbury today, very well made and I'm very happy with it. Just one thing to note, the inside 'tongue' at the very bottom doesn't appear to be stuck on properly. It came to me out of place and no matter how I try to line it up and press the adhesive down inside, it just pops out. Is there any solution to this?
