Great specs...but im not a fan. I had two pair of their straps fail this past May while my daughter and I were on a section hike of the AT. As for the hammock, I have a single+ and it is too tight in the center, hard to get comfortable. I have two other friends with the same complaint. I've switched to heavier straps and back to my favorite cheap hammock.

FatguyHi! This is Kathy with Hummingbird Hammocks. I would love to understand more about what happened with your tree straps and get you a replacement set. We make our products out of the very best military spec 1200 pound webbing and 1500 spectra and manufacture them in the USA, but even then sometimes things can go wrong. We believe in doing the right thing as a company. If you would like to give me your email, I will get a hold of you and get you a new set or refund your money. Our tree straps are quite remarkable!

FatguyWill take pictures and send an email. Both straps that failed pulled out of the friction hold on the loop that attaches to the tree strap.

FatguyGreat. Sometimes it is tricky to understand how to use them at first, but it sounds like you have experience with this type, so that is probably not the issue. Here is my email: kathy@hummingbirdhammocks.com . I look forward to helping you with this.
