I read a user comment that the opening on these is 42mm. Is this correct? I'm looking for your product with a 28mm opening which will accommodate my Sawyer Squeeze gravity feed filter system for my backpacking trips....or if anyone knows as adapter from 42mm to the standard 28mm. Thanks everyone!

MiyagiOnTheTrailI used this with a sawyer mini and some water bladder tubing. I had some lying around (happened to be hydropack tubing). I just just off a small length and attached one end in the bottle and on end on the sayer. So if you had the right attachment for your Sawyer Squeeze you could do something similar.
Longer explanation: To get a fluid system it was a little more complicated then I described. I had one bottle that just had the bite valve on top and one that had the hose extender on top. The reason for this was that the hose extender part has a plastic cap on the bottom so that it stays upright and does not slide into the bottle. A clever solution, but at the cost of not being able to pull out the straw without the stopper falling to the bottom of the bottle. I ended up drinking out of the straw bottle. When that bottle was empty I swapped caps. Now the full bottle had the straw cap and the empty one had the cap with just the bite valve. When I reached a stream I took off the bite valve, inserted the straw with the sawyer attached to it and filled up the bottle. I then swapped caps again and topped off the second bottle. The only issue I had with filling was that since the system was air tight I had to remove the filter to get the air out of the bottle, then fill up the rest of the way. I used this with the Klymit Dash and this system worked well for me for a weekend trip with a trail that had easy access to water.

MiyagiOnTheTrailHave you considered the Katadyn BeFree? It's designed to fit the 42mm Hydrapak bottles, and it has a faster flow rate than the Squeeze.
I don't think you'd be able to use the BeFree and the "straw" that comes with these bottles, unless you could find a way to attach the straw to the other end of the BeFree (the end you drink from), which is a standard 28mm thread.
