Hello, I just joined, primarily for the audiophile products. Looking at purchasing the NHT C3 speakers for our new living room. Space is about 15 feet wide by 33 long and they will fire long ways. Space is just for general listening, music room with all equipment is downstairs, so hoping they will fill it with sound nicely. Cheers.

At least with regard to headphones, the BT offerings fall far below the quality of what can be had attached to cable.
DanielStein, with that thinking, buy the cheapest Bluetooth streaming device you can. Because the player is just restreaming the data; it's dac and analog section's quality does not factor into what you hear. So do don't waste money on it.
For example, While I'm training at the gym I use my pair of Jaybird bluebuds X headphones because the last time I used wired headphones, the wires got caught on a dumbbell or a barbell and destroyed them. Don't get me wrong, the jaybirds don't sound like a AU$160 (US$123.58) pair of earphones but for the purpose I use them for and the frequency of how often I use them, I don't regret buying them for those reasons alone.
I agree with you because the most impressed I've been with a pair of wired portable headphones that I've listened to are the Beyeredynamic T51P's and they have dual sided cables. The only issue I have with them are that the cables are probably the biggest let down but not because they're not Bluetooth- the cables are kind of thin and seem like the most vulnerable part of the headphone however for AU$295 (US$227.84) they hold a lot more value than the Sennheiser Momentum Wireless headphones despite the conveniences that I see of having bluetooth. I say that because despite the Sennheiser Momentum Bluetooth headphones currently on sale here in Australia for AU$551 (US$425.56) I am aware that for that price you're hitting into a stronger selection of competitively priced headphones that sound really good.
i guess what I'm trying to say is that the opinion of what people think of bluetooth headphones/devices are very subjective. Some people see them as being a huge convenience for the purposes that they are going to use them for but some can see it as being pointless and a waste of money but neither of those opinions are wrong.
