A Year-Round Ultralight Staple
Great on its own or as a midlayer when the weather calls for it, the Icebreaker Descender jacket is suitable for hiking, running, commuting, and traveling. It’s made from a blend of wool, nylon, and Lycra that’s durable enough for daily wear and breathable enough for your toughest workouts—not to mention it’s odor resistant. The Pertex Quantum Air fabric and zoned MerinoLOFT front panel work together to trap body heat for better warmth retention. The center zipper has an interior storm flap that locks out wind and a chin guard that prevents pinching. Offset shoulder seams prevent pack rub, while a set-in sleeve construction maximizes movement. Additional features include a drop-tail hem and zippered hand pockets for keeping small items like your keys, phone, or wallet secure.
