How this is constructed is an important detail so I found this. I am am not sure if it is accurate. The Lycra content seems high but it might work depending on the weave. [main body] 100% polyester, DWR coating, [side & sleeve panels] 46% polyester, 38% merino wool, 16% Lycra, [lining] 100% merino. Does anyone have a helpful experience that would justify adding it a trip repertoire?

MasterRoHi MasterRo- The side and sleeve panels have Lycra in order to stretch and move with you when you're active in the garment. I have one of these Helix full zip garments and it works well as an outer layer, but also as a mid layer in more inclement weather. In the areas where the garment has 100% merino lining, there is no stretch, so by combining multiple fabrics, this garment is body mapped to enhance your range of motion so you're not feeling constrained. I hope that helps.
