anyone else have these? my wife said they don't last very long at all. holes developed very quickly after few washes

crazybananaMy wife wears these 90% of the time. For a while, Icebreaker had the seam in the middle of the hip and that caused friction with pants and hipbelts, which led to premature holes. However, in this current model they have moved the seam forward on the hip, which should eliminate this particular problem.
With any wool this light, make sure you zip up all zippers on other clothing that goes in the same wash. Those zipper edges are the most common cause of tiny holes in lightweight wool, and once a hole is created, it keeps growing. That may help with your situation.

crazybananaThis is currently my favorite pair of underwear and one of the longest lasting. I’ve had one pair for a few years now with no unraveling or holes. I’m slowly trying to replace my other pairs with these.
