How hot can these go? As a fire performer having a usb rechargeable lighter to light my staff/poi/swords would be really handy.

LunaRoseNot hot enough, but the issue more for your purpose is, they dont radiate very far.
You would need to touch the coil to the the kerosene, or whatever fuel you use.
Too risky IMO, Id use a torch type lighter over this... in fact, Id use matches over these.
May do at a pinch, but then they dont hold charge for long so even then, just doesnt deliver unfortunately.

DaveDeeThanks, my housemate has an arc lighter (not one of these) and having played with it definately not suitable for lighting fire props, will stick to my torch.
