Daisy_CutterYeah they made a poor choice not to pair it with decent blades. Nevertheless the razor is supposed to be excellent.

MartinCI've now done a bit of research, and it does seem like this razor is backed by solid reviews. The choice of complimentary blade is still puzzling, but I guess I'll give this the benefit of the doubt.

Daisy_Cutterthe supermax blades that came with my ikon x3 were awful. i disposed of them. after using astra platinum i laughed at how bad the super-max were.

scoopbbRight?? I knew I wasn't the only one. Why would they make a (reportedly) superior razor, then make people question the quality of the thing by shipping it with shitty blades?

For an additional dollar or less, they could have thrown in some decent blades from Personna or maybe even Feather. I have absolutely no experience with this product or the company, but this stinginess with the blades calls into question the quality of the main product. :(
