Been shaving with a Merkur 34C, and iKon basic (I think) Blacked out, light weight number... thinking about this one. Also considering a stainless feather.. somethin' new. I have a very easily irritated neck, dropped cartages, and an electric because of it. My other iKon is too light, nice shave, but too light for my taste. Steel handle should help with that... is the head a wedge shape, or more of a twist? Can't tell from the photos, thanks.

NanoblasterThe X3 is a torque slant. It's a very smooth shaver. IMO a vintage Tech is just as good as a Feather and a fraction of the price, so I wouldn't recommend the Feather. I would recommend the X3 though. It's one of the best slants IMO. My only complaint would be that, while it's very easy to use, it's a bit on the mild side. Works best on the neck area, which for me tends to be more prone to cuts and irritation.

repete66219I agree the Feather is pretty much a fancy over priced Tech made over. I have 8 Techs and 1 Feather and they all collect dust because i find them too mild and not a close enough shave. My 34C HD is my go to razor. I never used a slant but this one looks like a nice razor.
