iLumi has created a new version of these bulbs that are cheaper and more efficient at putting out more light and the prices for these bulbs are just about as equal.
Great news group! The vendor has let us know that the group's order was picked up and is on its way to our warehouse now. Based on the tracking provided these are scheduled to come in 11/9. Our warehouse team has been forwarded tracking info and will be standing by, ready to get these packed up and turned around as soon as they come in.
Sometimes shipments get delayed en route, not to worry as we will keep the group posted throughout the process and notify you all if anything causes delay.

Yeah.... I was less than pleased when I got that email not even a week after getting my lights. Don't get me wrong, I love the lights, but it does bestow a certain.... Buyers regret.

Just installed them, you guys really need to up your Android UI game.
Also, why is there constant buzzing? Even when I turn them "off" via the app, it still buzzes like a fluorescent light. Are mine defective?

Just got mine in the mail, the two larger bulbs work great! The smaller, however does not. I put in a help request. *Update* They work great! I just had to be smarter than the smart bulbs.

@bulkan - Every ilumi has a universal power supply from 100-240V 50/60Hz. You might need an E27/E26 socket or adapter. If you're unsure of what type of adapter is needed, our bulbs are an Edison screw. Let us know if you have any additional questions!
I went ahead and made a video of mine, because I had trouble finding much info online before joining the drop. I'm not sure if this is allowed, but I definitely want to shy people away from buying this without knowing the way the product is in reality vs. how it is portrayed in the promotional videos released by Ilumi themselves.

You mentioned in your video that Philips hue was cheaper but I see the starter kit starting at $200.

The non-massdrop price on these bulbs is $90. The Phillips hue starter kit comes with 3 bulbs and can be ordered from Amazon for $185. Not saying one is better or worse, they each have their drawbacks for sure.

Hey There, I am currently getting the same issue with the Tracking ID stating there is, "No Package Found", really wondering whats going on. Also, when the package arrives, with the shipping costs already paid, will there be additional brokerage fee's or anything of that nature? Thanks, G. Sharma

Hey Ilumi, quick question, sorry if it's already been asked; It's noted that this bulb will sync with your morning alarm clock. Does this alarm have to be set within the app or does it use the Android system alarm hook?

@Clipboards - The ilumi Rise & Shine alarm is set up directly through the ilumi App. It does not provide the alarm sound, so I still recommend setting up your regular alarm if you need additional help waking up in the morning, like a few of us here at ilumi :)
Question for illumi folks: Amazon Echo is advertising integration with Phillips Hue; is similar integration with illumi possible? Or is the network bridge required for that synergy to happen?

Hey MassDrop! I've successfully joined this drop, received the purchase email and a tracking number, however when I click the tracking link, it doesn't seem to work on any of the drops I've joined... Am I doing it right? I waited a little longer incase I was too eager, yet nothing has changed, not has it been delivered. Can you help please? Thanks heaps! :)
What is with the 5 bulb limit? Massdrop support has been useless through email, so I thought I would post here. I want to be able to replace all bulbs in an area, rather than just 5. The system only allows a maximum of 5 bulbs (combined, both types). That is not made obvious anywhere other than at checkout.

If you try to do so the system responds with "Maximum per user quantity limit of 5 exceeded. For assistance with your order, don't hesitate to get in touch with us at support@massdrop.com." When emailing support they suggested separate transactions, and the same error occurs.

Too bad! I contacted and ilumi said they don't support windows phone. At least Philips hue has third party app. Buy Philips hue if you use windows phone.

shipping to ireland costs 13.40$ and if i want to order 3 or 5 bulbs it multiplies by 3 or 5 so for 5 bulbs shipping is 67 dollars.
edit: sorry, for 5 bulbs it charges me 51 dollars
