Is "32,000 lumens" a typo? That's roughly 3x brighter than the sun's output per square foot.
32 K lumens. Not a chance. 3 minutes on turbo then your cloaca is cooked! This won't hold up a candle to my Astrolux MF01 18x XP-G3/Nichia 219C  which has the best CR of any LED available today.
Bogarte
It actually holds that “32k” for nearly the 3 minutes then drop to the standard high setting. It’s definitely toasty during and after that three minutes
The Cree datasheet on those LEDs doesn't have a one that produces 2000 lumens, let alone 4000. That would be three minutes of hell for those chips! What am I missing?

We've been misled!
Wait. So you’re NOT AvE. And that avatar isn’t his own? Oh, I’m so confused, I don’t know what happened. <grin>
What is this? The sun?
It's definitely a flood type beam.

Anyone got one of these things? Can I cook an egg on it or what? I gots to know the real scoop? What does "built in battery pack" mean. Can or Cannot change or replace the batteries? Are they/it included? When will the 64,000 version be coming out? How many lumens does the sun put out? Why does Jimmy Crack corn when no one cares? I digress, digrass, byegrass, highgrass, I'm baked, lol. Is it worth it? How is Imalent's reputation as far as quality and durability? For that price and that many lumens, there has to be some downsides am I right? If I have offended anyone with this post, feel free to let me know. I don't care but feel free anyway.
So I looked around and this seems to be decent deal if you think you need daylight in your hand. What I saw on youtube says it's more of a flood then a beam. I'm passing on it. I got a wicked laser to burn little holes in paper and that depleted my "things that light up that are a waste of money" account.

Yes, most of those lumens are wasted on spill. The light to get for throw is the BLF-GT: http://budgetlightforum.com/node/61216
or its upcoming upgrade the Giggle Monster: http://budgetlightforum.com/node/61334

The battery is a custom battery that is replaceable but cost $200+ dollars. You can change the battery within the flashlight via usb-c plug. So far durable for me. at lower lumens pure flood you get distance when you increase the lumen output. The max “32k” can only be sustained for about 3 minutes continuously. At three minutes the light will throttle back to the high setting. You can reinitiate 32k mode as long as the temp sensor inside doesn’t detect overheating.
32 thousand lumens??!!

I'm looking for something that can let me see through plywood and drywall and 2" thick steel plate, would this be bright enough? Where can I buy an x-ray flashlight? /s

I work for Radio Therapy Clinics of Georgia....I can get you what you are looking for.
Well, you never know when you’ll need to be seen from space; right?

links please :)
I have a unit with 3 LED'S like this with 4 batteries and it will leave you seeing blue spots for an hour if you dare look into it. I could only imagine what 8 LED'S and 8 batteries would do to you! I only paid $80 for mine and its brite as hell.

Is it the olight x7r marauder?
John7up
I have that light and it is amazing. Love OLight.
at 32000 lumens, if you shine it at a black dog, it will become a white dog.

Hot dog?
OLight > others.
What does 3 + 100 mins mean for turbo mode? It’ll do 3 then step down?
Jrummer
3 min of full turbo then steps down for 100 min
Jrummer
Yeah it steps down to a measly 7000 lumens.
Haha please change the heading! XD
Title says 3200 lumens. Description says 32000! Which is it?

So your saying it's more like the sun then an actual directional light? But seriously, it really doesn't have a clear cut beam ability?
theonug
It does get distance due to the massive output but the reflector isn’t very deep so it’s floody especially at lower lumens. More of an exploration or search and rescue light
