Anyone got one of these things? Can I cook an egg on it or what? I gots to know the real scoop? What does "built in battery pack" mean. Can or Cannot change or replace the batteries? Are they/it included? When will the 64,000 version be coming out? How many lumens does the sun put out? Why does Jimmy Crack corn when no one cares? I digress, digrass, byegrass, highgrass, I'm baked, lol. Is it worth it? How is Imalent's reputation as far as quality and durability? For that price and that many lumens, there has to be some downsides am I right? If I have offended anyone with this post, feel free to let me know. I don't care but feel free anyway.
So I looked around and this seems to be decent deal if you think you need daylight in your hand. What I saw on youtube says it's more of a flood then a beam. I'm passing on it. I got a wicked laser to burn little holes in paper and that depleted my "things that light up that are a waste of money" account.

theonugYes, most of those lumens are wasted on spill. The light to get for throw is the BLF-GT: http://budgetlightforum.com/node/61216
or its upcoming upgrade the Giggle Monster: http://budgetlightforum.com/node/61334

theonugThe battery is a custom battery that is replaceable but cost $200+ dollars. You can change the battery within the flashlight via usb-c plug. So far durable for me. at lower lumens pure flood you get distance when you increase the lumen output. The max “32k” can only be sustained for about 3 minutes continuously. At three minutes the light will throttle back to the high setting. You can reinitiate 32k mode as long as the temp sensor inside doesn’t detect overheating.

fazalmajidI'm interested in this Giggle Monster but are they still available? Seems like a process to acquire one?
