Mine had no dents, and the filter process is amazing. Great coffee. I think the silicone lid imparts a taste on the liquids.

kevsterI have to agree with you, there is definitely a taste when drinking through the silicone lid. Hopefully it will fade with washing. It does make a great cup of coffee, though I do wish I could stick it in the cup holders in my car - it's a bit too big. At any rate, I really want another for work :)

Noirkw91Re: Impress coffee brewer; whoops! missed your post and I know this is almost 3 months later but yes - successive washing drastically reduces the silicone taste. With continuous / regular use it will almost certainly entirely fade or at least be barely noticeable.
