So I got my set today also, looks like the plate was dropped and bent in a corner and I have a chip in one of the peices of plexi But I contacted Massdrop and I expect them to take care of it. Support semmes to be pretty good with these things. Only issue I had/see is that I needed to re-look at some of the leeds coming out of the bottom of the PCB as I left some long and saw that they would have touched the metal plate and potentially shorted. (not a issue when it was plexi) So word of warning check and RE-TRIM any long leeds !!

greekoneAfter I saw your mention of possible shorting, I left my original bottom layer in place to avoid any chance of it. The screws are holding on by a *thread*, so to speak, but they're tight & secure. I can always find longer screws. Too bad the posts are custom, as I understand it. They could have included longer posts or a very thin protective acrylic replacement base layer. For better or worse the full hand extension is lower than the main body now, but since I slapped my Grifiti wrests right on top, they have a lip to bump up against. The height gives my ErgoDox a little bit of a Kinesis Advantage feel to it. Now I need to trim them so they don't look like awkward monstrosities hanging off all the edges.
