"It looks like the group's order has already been placed with the vendor, which means we are unable to update your requested option. Shortly after the drop ends, our logistics team places the order with the vendor for the exact units the group ordered."
I'll be waiting for my SA Carbon key-caps too!

smoyeryea saw that as well, I wish there was a set I could buy right off the bat. Since Carbon is shipping late I'm going to look for generic set and wait for Hana

smoyerI bought the caps specifically for that reason. I didn't really want the blank ones, but I figured it would be a long time until I could get my hands on ones I would like better. Glad I did it beside it will probably be 8 months between receiving this board and getting carbon caps for it.

ChitownM2No need to wait a year. Buy keycaps from pimpmykeyboard. As of yesterday they had 2 or 3 options for ergodox kits. I thought there Granite HC kit was slicker than the Carbon drop anyways.

Sgt_Fiddlerhttp://pimpmykeyboard.com/dsa-hc-granite/ I believe you need to by the "Ergodoxian" and "Alpha" or "Basic" kits. Comes out to $110 for a full Ergo keyset, which isn't too bad looking at previous drops

Sgt_FiddlerFor those who didn't get any keys the blanks are better than nothing, plus these blanks come in several color sets which are pretty rad to me, http://pimpmykeyboard.com/dsa-pbt-abs-blank-keycap-sets/
You really could get any "Alpha" or "Basic" kit from them and just the blank modifiers if you wanted as well

Idaho-ianThanks for the links! Just realized I have a new set of caps coming in for my planck which currently has dsa blanks. If I use those as the alphas all I really need is a set of dsa ergodox mods and I'm good to go til carbon arrives

Idaho-ianThanks I'm actually thinking of going https://www.massdrop.com/buy/tai-hao-hawaii-pbt-doubleshot-keycap-set + http://pimpmykeyboard.com/dsa-hc-granite/ (ergodoxian only, though I would have liked a picture of it) or http://pimpmykeyboard.com/dsa-pbt-abs-blank-keycap-sets/ (ergodox modifier for colors but I dunno how I feel about blanks) Between these 2 I should be covered if not then I need 12x 1.5u and 4x 2u (apart from Tai-Hao) and one key at a time seems to get expensive

How do you do per-key RGB lighting on a Shift V2?

I saw the online configurator that lets you do this on the Shift V1, where it spits out a compiled firmware file to flash. The V2 doesn't seem to have this function in the Windows configurator, though. I can't imagine the answer here is "you're going to have to manually write the hex for every key in QMK, compile it, and flash that".
