ZisiliusPCB (and case) are part of the reason. Mainly, it's to give a more reasonable ship date for a first run of a product. The original Infinity ship date was delayed quite a bit (lots of manufacturing issues came up) so we're trying to give ourselves more time (also keep in mind we're nearly triple the orders of the original infinity and each infinity is really 2 full keyboards...).
I'm also trying to sneak in a small beta testing run for a select few (hasu of TMK fame for example so he has a head start on port his firmware if he so chooses). (Don't try asking me to be a beta tester, I'll ignore this)

HaaTaDoes Massdrop have an idea on when the next drop for this will be? I might want to wait for an updated version, considering I already have an ErgoDox. I thought I read something about making another drop after this one ships, but I can't seem to find that comment. If it'll happen later this year, I'll be happy to wait.
Edit: Went ahead and cancelled my order. I really wanted some aluminum on this thing, so I hope you guys can add that on the next drop. Maybe some printed keycaps as well? Anyway, I'm still interested in when the next drop will be, if you guys know anything about that.
