I just received my missing left handed PCB to discover that it's actually a THIRD right handed PCB. Like, at first I was absolutely speechless, but now I just can't laughing at how silly this whole ordeal has been. At least I'm not in any rush since I'm also waiting for the Carbon Keycaps, but still. How do you fuck up this badly? I'm simply in awe.
Jayn3literally the same thing.... after I finished laughing I came here hoping to God I was a fluke so no one else would have to deal with this. I just cant.
AthlonNot me either.
Anybody have any good plans for what to do with the extra right hand ones? If I was a lefty I'd make a game pad but since I'm not, and the boards aren't reversible it may just end upin the garbage
ChitownM2If you source some Vintage ALPS with the Diodes inbuilt someone said you can solder them on the reverse. No idea if this works I have no plans to go down the Apple vintage hole.
You could in theory desolder all the diodes - clip your cherry switches stems to fit the back and handwire everything inc LCD using ribbon cables....
