While I think the numpad PCB is by far the coolest of the options mentioned, I can see most people not being interested in buying the extra supplies necessary to turn the PCB into a functioning numpad (case, switches, keycaps, controller, etc). Even already having the keycaps and a spare teensy, I don't think I'd bother making one. Probably better sticking with accessories that could be directly used with the Ergodox itself. I would say LEDs or stabilizers over wrist rests because probably less people already bought them (especially considering the Grifiti drop).
What I'd love to see is a vinyl wrap like in the following picture (originally posted on GeekHack by yuiop).

I personally already have LEDs, a wrist rest, stabilizers, custom springs, lubricant, tenting and probably a million other things prepared for my build. Something to hide the aluminum backplate is the last thing on my Ergodox checklist and something I can't get started on until I have the case for reference anyways. But if I end up getting a gift I wont really use I wont be upset.
