Has anyone used these as a 'substitute' for traditional orthopedic compression socks? Do these provide much relief? Thanks in advance everyone.

Aaron.dangeloThat's how much compression socks cost, but this isn't how I would do it. I'd get a compression calf sock sock w/o toes and wear it over an existing injinji running sock. Something about mixing the two seems weird to me. If anyone has experience with this and can justify why it's better or something, I'd love to hear. I have 3 pairs of compressions socks already, but all are full toe box.

octavecatI suspect that they're just sticking with their branding. But for prescription compression socks, they don't really squeeze near the toes with a full toe box. The prescription compression toe socks can. So it might be good if you get swelling at the base of your toes.

More colors at some point MD? I love me some good socks for me and mine, but I'd buy more if there were a couple more choices...
