I use the 3 monitor version of this at work. It does have a bit of wobble to it but after about a week of use I hardly notice it unless I am trying to kill my keyboard. The only other issue that it has is the placement of the monitors, if they are at the right height when standing then it is to high when sitting or vise versa. The surface area of the desk is great it has a lot of space for keyboard mouse and random other crap you may need to go up and down. It goes up and down very easy and locks in place unlike some other models. Even with the wobbliness and the monitor height issue I would still recommend it if you are looking for a sit/stand solution. I can't speak if it would support 31' monitor but with the way they mount and the length of the mounting bar I would honestly doubt it.
