I have multiple pairs of the 195 and they fit like a glove. I wear a 12.5 and the fit is spot on. I tend to have a narrower foot, so I could see someone with a wider foot potentially having size issues. The major issue I have with this model is they wear our fast. I used to wear them for CrossFit style workouts but they just broke down too quickly. I switched to the Reebok Nanos and just wear these to walk around in.

jkilgrenRe: durability issues, do you have multiple years/generations by any chance? I had a pair of Roclite 295s from 2015 and the upper was garbage. Typical hiking and backpacking useage, tons of holes developing in the mesh upper and a stitching coming apart on the right shoe where upper meets midsole. It's happening on both shoes, so unlikely to be a manufacturing issue... they're just not built/designed well.
I have an older pair from like 2013-ish or so, exact same size, and they're in great shape. I've put more days on those than the newer ones and they look great. Looks like they made a bad call on switching up the mesh for the 2015 version, and they changed it again in the new 2017 version.
Just curious if it's something you see across multiple years, or if it's just one generation that was badly handled.

dchu101I bought two pairs within a year about 2.5-3 years ago. I love the feel, but when I came to doing anything agressive in the shoes they really wore out quick in the toe/front area. Now I just use them for causal use. I have not tried models before or after 2013/14. I think if they reinforced the toe/front area similar to the Reebok Nanos or Nike Metcons this shoe would vastly improve.

Wish I knew the weight of oh let's say a size 9 or 10 and if they fit true to size.

overhereI own a bunch of different Inov-8s, I wear all of them half a size bigger than normal. I wear a 10.5 US 80% of the time and am consistently an 11 in Inov-8s. That's consistent with what I've seen others posts, but YMMV.

dchu101Same. I often wear 10.5 US but am an 11 US in the Inov-8 195s.

What are the shoe width specifications? I'd be interested in joining if I can get a confirmation on a WIDE width being available.

Add me to the people requesting more feedback on fit: true to size, compare sizing to Asics, etc. Thanks!

How does one choose a size online when unable to return for another size (like zappos allows)? I have trainers ranging from 10.5 US to 11.5 US. Even within the same brand, a different style can be a 1/2 size to a full size different.

Scott"How does one choose a size online" - with a lot of research and a little luck.
It helps posting here in the discussion with questions on how this shoe fits compared to other Inov-8 shoes and other brands.

ScottYou can't. I ordered some Altra Olympus 2.0 from Mass drop, assuming they would be the same width as the Altra Paradigm's but the Paradigms have much more room for toe splay. Now I have a pair of shoes I have to sell.

Does anyone have experience with the sizing on these? I seem to fluctuate between size 10.5 and 11. I would hate to order some 10.5s and find them too snug.

TheFinnIt depends on the Model- I have 2 pairs of Inov-8s- one is their Precision fit, and the others aren't. The Precision fit is DEAD ON with sizing - I have fairly narrow feet, and they fit perfect as a 9.5M. Their boots, however, have some leeway- I'm glad they do because I just spent a wet weekend camping and, they fit fine with thick wool socks. Hope that helped!
