mdrisselYeah, I wear size 13 and those are $130 on Amazon. One of the few times I have seen that Massdrop's MSRP was displayed elsewhere. They don't drop in price until you get down to size 11 and even then as you work your way down the price doesn't follow suit. It jumps up and down, but still stays under $130 for the smaller sizes.
EDIT: If you go all the way to size 8 then the price does jump all the way back to $130.
I have a pair of these shoes, they are, great for rocky and slippery terain i use em for trail running and so far they exceeded my expectations , i have wide feet and never got a blister with these shoes with all that said i got em at amazon for $40 delivered to my door in 5 days.
Got one from Amazon yesterday. It's wide at the toes, but not much in the middle. I have wide feet and it's snug in the middle. I'll go for a run in the trail this weekend and I'll post how it worked.
DMperfection101It's a little tight. I would have returned it if I hadn't used it. It's fine for short runs, but definitely not for a long hike, which was the reason I bought it. I also bought the 220 Terraclaw in both 9.5 and 10 sizes, plus the 295 Roclite in 9.5 size, and returned them all. They were either too tight or fit me weirdly. The 250 Terraclaw fit the best, but it's still a little tight. I didn't try the 250 Terraclaw size 10, so I'm not sure if would've been better, but the 220 size 10 fit me like a bag of loose potatoes, horribly. As much as I love Massdrop (and spent a lot of money here), if you have wide feet, I recommend buying from Amazon because you can return them. I bought an Adidas Terrex Trailmaker 9.5 and it fits me perfectly, a lot better than the Inov-8. It's a shame, because I really wanted this shoes to fit me. Every foot is different, though. Good luck.
I have a wide foot and long toes so I definitely empathize with the lack of clarification. The broad foot struggle is certainly real. I'm often close to buying a great pair of shoes for cheap on ebay until reading reviews of their smaller leaning. Still, I am inclined to troll people who idle about complaining before attempting to inform themselves. The internet has afforded people a lot of luxury when it comes to feeding into bitchy patterns; maybe my sassy comments aren't too constructive, but hey, it's the internet, we should just type without thinking, right?
Here's another complaint. Sizing has become more and more inconsistent. Everyday, I hear the cloggy sound of loose shoes on the guys that work in my building. I'm very particular on how shoes fit me. I have wide feet as well. I'm the guy that tries on 10 pairs of shoes and walks out because they all fit crappy. So, budget shoes are completely out for me...they never fit well. So, now I have to save my money until I can affird the next $350+ pair of shoes shoes. Ridiculous.
