Are these good for dry trails? I got the impression they are meant more for wet conditions.

hesher100I own a pair of X-Talon 190. I love that shoe. I use to race collegiate cross country in it. The bottom's of my shoe look identical to the one's that are being sold here and I can say they are great for both dry and wet conditions on soft terrain. The rubber cleat is no larger than 1/4 inch. I had to laugh because I would not recommend them for hard rocky surfaces as shown in the picture, especially on solid bedrock.

ghartne2@ghartne2: Agreed - rocks were a bad choice for the photo shoot for these shoes.
