Designed by knife enthusiast RJ Martin, the new Scrambler BlackWash comes with a black coating to give it a tough, broken-in aesthetic. The coating also helps protect against and hide any additional wear you may put on the knife during normal use. Combined with an 8Cr13MoV steel blade, the scrambler is as tough as it looks. The 3.5 inch drop-point blade is hollow ground and provides good edge retention and slicing ability. The blade on this folder is easily deployed with Kershaw’s signature SpeedSafe assisted opening system. The Scrambler BlackWash comes with a sturdy, comfortable, and secure handle that is fashioned with a textured G-10/410 front, and a BlackWash finished bolster and back. The bolster extends farther than most knives to keep your pointer finger tucked away from the blade. It also comes with a reversible pocket clip for left- or right-handed carry.
The result of a popular Kickstarter, KeySmart offers a clever alternative to the traditional keyring. By providing the structure and order of a Swiss-made pocket knife, KeySmart effectively eliminates bulk, thigh poke, key jingle, and other snares of keychains past. Made in a smart black finish, the KeySmart is nothing if not durable. Completed with a laser-engraved logo, KeySmart can hold up to four keys and includes a loop ring, which allows you to attach a keyless entry remote. You can even slot in a USB drive, RFID chip, or another similar-sized object. At check-out, you can upgrade to the Titanium Keysmart Key Organizer (+$21).
Featuring no fewer than 11 different tools, the all-in-one Griffin Pocket Tool in stainless steel is not only useful but also small enough to carry on a belt loop or in a pocket. This unique design features a pry tool, bit driver, bottle opener, scoring tool, five different sized hex keys (4 millimeter to 8 millimeter), flathead screwdriver, and pocket clip. There’s even a ring where you can attach your keys. At check-out, you can upgrade to the Titanium Griffin Pocket Tool (+$12, limit 130 units).
A Massdrop launch exclusive product, the Kershaw Blur BlackWash S30V Blade features a DLC (Diamond-Like Carbon) BlackWash blade made of S30V stainless steel—renowned for its resistance to wear and corrosion—plus a Navy Blue handle with Trac-Tec grip tape. Slightly recurved for both slicing and piercing, the blade measures 3.4 inches. It’s equipped with Kershaw’s patented SpeedSafe opening device, which requires little more than a manual push on the thumbstud for smooth, safe opening. The handle, constructed of 6061-T6 anodized aluminum, makes this folder lightweight yet durable and resistant to scratches. And thanks to the reversible clip, the knife can be carried tip-up or tip-down, while the inset liner lock ensures safety while the blade is open.
