As far as Invictas go, you could do a lot worse than this. Sellita movement is nice, but the brand has single handedly fashion watched itself (ya that's a verb). You're getting a good watch for the money here despite what others are saying, just know that the brand as a whole isn't necessarily prestigious..

Everyone is looking at you and wondering how hard that hit to the head was, how much meth you've done and who accepts you into their home at night.

TCatI think you're right, there are quite a few watch owners out there without much more to do with their time than p*ss over Invicta (not often incorrectly). At the end of the day though, what some people want is just a watch that looks like a submariner from a distance and functions well. While I personally would not buy an invicta, a watch that isn't terribly made is a watch that isn't terribly made and pointing that out can be helpful. To continue the metaphor: if you were to go to McDonalds and buy a Big Mac, would you have the quality of five guys? Nah, but you'd probably be fed and happy.
