To re-itterate what others have said, be very very wary of this drop. I recently purchased the 980 that had "Lithium Ion" Battery listed, I can assure you that is not what is shipped with the unit. They ship a cheaper NiMH battery that is not intended for the unit. The Lithium batteries are not inexpensive and will cost you another $99 to purchase. Will it work, yes, will it work and actually be able to complete a job on that battery... maybe. Most likely an always.deals "certified refurbished". The warranty is provided by always.deals and is not much of a warranty, they'll give you a few canned responses then just ask if you to work with massdrop for a refund. Not only did they not respond to the the claim that the battery was listed as a Lithium Ion but double down with a outright lie that the NiMH battery they include is somehow superior. I would stay away. Massdrop should do a better job vetting some of these items and the truthfulness of the listing.

Yes, this is likely the same place that did the bait and switch. The lithium ion battery as the listing notes is needed in the 900 series Roomba. The picture is exactly what they shipped me for my 980. Its a yellow aftermarket "HIGH PERFORMANCE" NiMH. Its not the green Lithium Ion. I would error caution and save the return or get confirmation from mass drop and the refurb manufacturer first.

Caution if this is from Always.Deals. They swapped parts in the 980 I bought and tried to sell me a NiMH battery thats only worth $25 as a Lithium Ion which is $100 and full performance.

I have an 860 or so roomba. The plastic knobby brushes are great and way better than bristles imo. We have run our roomba 4-5 days a week for 3.5 years now. Needed a new battery this year. And needs new plastic brushes. After running over cables the knobs have worn down a bit and the suction is starting to go down. It does start to suck in a cable, then it realizes what it is doing, and reverses and spits out the cable. Not sure if they do this differently with this newer unit, but still I never lost a cable. It did knock over a tissue box once and spread tissues everywhere. Bad Bob. Bad.
Anyways. Huge timesave, and that $450 price ain't bad either. I do have issues with signals sometimes. We have two towers. It divides our place into 3 units to be cleaned one at a time. Sometimes, roomba won't cross into the next unit, or won't return because of all the wi-fi and what not interference. Still, not a huge deal. And Bob has never fallen down the stairs, although at times he dips a wheel over the edge and requires human assistance.

$50 more for a NEW 985 at Costco warehouse AND online. Seems to go in and out of stock pretty quickly. Much better deal in my opinion.
