This seems like a pretty darn good deal, I'm not an expert, but you can get Chinese Yelang watches, pretty well made, and to get T100 they are around $230, but they have far less, smaller Tritium markers than this watch, just really short indice markers and certainly not numbers made up of tritium sticks, oh but they are automatics, even so though, this seems a really good deal for a T100 watch, and especially with a SS bracelet, leather and a NATO? Nice one, I've been pretty critical of drops lately, thank you Massdrop and thank you Armourlite!

Stryker104mmmmkay, seems like those are a LOT more expensive, the ones even close to this price range, are T25, which SUCKS I HATE my T25 watches, they require complete darkness and night adjusted eyes to even see a slight glow in my experience, and so if I spend like 25% more I can get a Nitewatch that looks pretty nice, has short sticks of T25 and comes on a leather bracelet. And has the same movement, but with a 10 year battery, which is nice.

Glen8Dude, you admitted earlier that you haven't even seen a T100 tube yet. So how can you be hating on your T25s with zero comparison?

Glen8Everything out there like the iso is ridiculous for price. I cant afford a Ball but I'd buy a Nite in a second.

Stryker104Go to nitewatches.com and the little thing tubs on the dinner watch is a t25. The others have t100. Any watch company with the t100 tubes instantly add 300 to the price.

LunchableI hate my T25s without need of comparison, I haven't seen T100 yet, I hope they're better, but I don't see what that has to do with how I feel about the T25's, I don't like them because I can't see them, it's pretty simple. Maybe I won't like the T100's either, dude

Stryker104No such thing as a T100 tube. T100 just means there's between 26 and 100 mCi of tritium in the entire watch. A T25 has 25 mCi or less.

JohnDYou are correct on the specs that I just became aware of in this discussion. If there is no such thing as T100, it makes me wonder why the term is used for this and other watches. Using 100 for a benchmark that varies between 26 and 100 is a pretty wide variance in my mind. I can attest that my watches with T100 markers are substantially brighter than a name brand watch with T25 I did a side by side comparison on years ago.

stoutdogI believe the term was actually designed to convey an outer bound on the amount of radioactive material. There, too, it's a pretty wide variance. I don't dispute that your watches containing between 25 and 100 mCi are visibly brighter than those you've seen with <25 mCi. I also don't dispute -- though I don't yet know -- that the offered watch (which I have purchased and look forward to receiving) is brighter than many, most or all T25's. My point is simply that T100 is not, in and of itself, a promise of either brighter or longer-lasting illumination. I'll look forward to comparing it to my T25 Ball and Smith & Wesson watches for brightness. If I remember, I'll also update in 25 years regarding glow longevity. :)

Glen8There's certainly some variability. I have a T25 Ball watch and both I and my 83 year old dad were able to see the illuminated markers with unadjusted eyes, just walking into a shaded hallway in the evening and turning off the light. Not all T25's are equal, I guess!
