omkarmaHi omkara, I'm not versed with the oblique, but I can tell you the difference between italic and cursive stub. Think of the italic as level and sharp like a laser. Think of cursive as also level, but slightly rounded. Both nibs produce "ribbon-like" lettering with thick strokes up/down and thin strokes side to side. With the italic if you dont hold it at the sweet spot/ proper angle it can produce something like running your fingers down a blackboard, cursive is a little more forgiving.
