I have pre-ordered the last two sets from this and this price jump seems really high. Last set was around $285 for the playset. This makes me wonder if this is going to include the Mythics with this set. I dont get how it jumps up $100

AquintonI am relatively new to the game (3 months). I have been probably cracking packs more than I should buying booster box here and there every now and then. If you don't mind me asking, why do you buy the non-mythic playset? Is it to collect? Seems much cheaper to buy playable singles or crack packs for the thrill of it.

AquintonI have also been buying these up for about a year now. I have to say this price just makes me want to crack packs instead. I think the increase is because of the lack of masterpieces, but it is really just too much to justify this time.

maknivi pre order the full set with the mythical and the full playset. all said and done I end up with 5 of all rare and below and 1 of each mythic. I like having all the cards because since I play a lot of magic it gives me flexibility for building decks. It also gives me ease of mind for not trading away good cards for other good cards because I need them to "brew" the next killer deck. when I first started playing I sunk a lot of money into booster boxes and I kept getting the same stuff so it was kinda frustrating so I like getting all the cards. I think I sank about $500 into boxes and still didn't get all the cards so for about $60 more I guarantee myself all the cards.

AquintonI think the price is up from Hour of Devastation for two reasons: firstly, it's a big set instead of a small set, and second, the rares are preordering for a much higher price. For instance, the card Growing Rites of Italmoc is preordering for almost $18 each. Ripjaw Raptor is close to $9 each, Regisaur Alpha for $7, etc.
