These are great shoes. However, due to my instep they are a bit tight for me. I ordered this drop and I have a pair of all black (never worn) direct from J. Fitzpatrick in 11.5. Looking to let the go for $120 each.
I wear 8UK in rather wide lasts as 87 Alfred Sargent. Should I take 8.5 UK ?
nkb1
at least the 8.5 yes, if you plan to wear dress socks with them
So, are these shipping with the shoe trees?
MaestroJewsus
never will J.FitzPatrick shoes be shipped with shoe trees
Does anyone know if the June 11th estimated ship date seem about accurate? 3 months feels a little long. (sorry i've only placed one other order through massdrop so i don't have much experience with ship dates here, please forgive my ignorance)
matthewl
shoe production out of Europe is usually 3-4 months for most factories, which is the standard when the product is 'not in stock'
TheShoeSnob
good to know, i look forward to receiving my pair
I wear 7.5 in a Joseph Cheaney oxford dress shoe last 125. What size you recommend i take?
Snakecharmer22
please read the size guide. I cannot say if you will need a 7.5 or 8. That depends on your foot and how you like sneakers to fit and what kind of socks you will wear with them
I usually take GG 8.5 UK, Carmina Simpson last in 8.5 UK, Vass in 42 (multiple lasts), but wear John Lobb Levah sneakers in size 8 UK. I prefer a snug fit. What size would you recommend I take?

forgz
Stick with 8.5 as they fit somewhat like Simpson last
I got a chance to visit J. FitzPatrick show room in NY and I'm officially a fan of Justin now. The dress shoes (except those on narrow lasts) accommodate my wide feet (US 9.5W) quite well. I purchased a pair of oxfords on TMG last (UK 8.5). The fit feels similar to my Alden 9D on Barrie last (Barrieis a wide last). However, the Olympia sneakers don't quite accommodate my wide feet. I tried size 9 UK and the length felt alright, but the "side" of my feet felt pinched. I have the same pinched feeling when trying many sneakers from other brands, so this is definitely not a problem with the Olympia sneakers. I guess it's just due to the difference in construction between sneakers and dress shoes. If your feet measure medium (D) on a Brannock device then these sneakers should work well for you. Maybe they will also work if your feet are just a tad wider than D. However, if your feet touch the "Wide" line on a Brannock device then they might feel narrow. I'd suggest exploring Justin's beautiful collection of dress shoes!
@TheShoeSnob I wear UK 11 for my Tony IIs. Planning to get at least 11.5UK, but should I try a full size up and go UK 12?
djaung
If you plan to wear with thin socks and like a snug fit i would go to 11.5. But if you are going to wear them with athletic socks then maybe yes go to 12
@TheShoeSnob , Justin could please help to decide with size? I am 43 in Common Projects and 11D Allen Edmonds, should I go with UK10 size? Thank you

Thanks, will go with UK10.5 then.
ikir
Hey sorry that other reply i did was meant for another guy but for some reason my phone responded to you. If you take 43 in CP then take our uk10 as 10.5 will be too big. You should be able to change your order with MD before the drop ends
I have slightly wider feet, so I usually go for a wide size, but I don't have to for some brands like Ecco. I tried on some Vans today, and the US10 fit my length correctly but pressed up against my little toe, and the US10.5 offered a very slight improvement in the width, but the length was a bit too far off. Will these stretch enough to accommodate me at size 10?
tb00
Ours fit a touch bigger than vans and being all leather they stretch so you should be fine in the US10 (uk9)
Hi, i usually wear a euro 45/46, what sizes should I get for this pair.
Lecky
A 46/47
Hi Justin, i usually wear 7.5uk for C&J for most lasts. What size do you reccomend for these?
Carlovdb
Did you read the size guide? Depends on how you like your sneakers to fit and if you have a low or high volume foot. You will either need uk7.5 or uk8. I cant say which one
I love how flat the soles are: i.e. little to no toe spring. I just might get some. Can anyone recommend other shoes with soles that are flat out to the toe?
@TheShoeSnob Hey Justin, what's the sizing recommendation regarding shoe tree fit? Is it alright to use renovateur and cream polish on the white leather?
BAMK
go at least a full size down in the shoe trees...i.e. if you have a uk9 in the sneakers, take a uk8 for shoe trees for a tight fit (like lasted) or a UK7 for a regular fit. If you fall in a half size i.e. UK9.5, take the UK8
Hi - I wear US 7 in most dress shoes, 7.5 in cole haan and 8 in Nike trainers. What would you recommend? Thanks!
dov.b
I would probably go for the 7.5 in that case (i.e. UK6.5)
need suggestions on size: I'm wearing: Carmina Rain UK8.5 Carmina Simpson UK8.5 J.Fitzpatrick TMG UK8.5E (slightly loose) Carlos Santos 316 UK8.5 Stan Smith UK8 (with thin no show socks) I most likely gonna wear these with no show socks, shall I stick with my dress shoes size or go with the Stan Smith size? Thanks in advance!!

so the Olympia has lower instep compare to a same size Stan Smith? think i will go with 8.5 then to be safe.
Davidhyb
yes as it is an oxford sneaker, not a derby, which makes it have less give in the instep and room for error
A few questions: -I'm pretty hard on my shoes, and while I will take care of them, they see water and mud. Which leather/color should hold up best in these conditions? -What shoe style/model (vans?) should I go to a store and try to get an idea of the size I should order? -Does the white outsole stay clean or stain over time? -Would it be necessary to have a rotation or 2 pairs to keep these in good condition?
tb00
your questions will be hard to answer as facts, but here goes 'my opinion' --having a rotation always helps, for any shoes. if you wear the same shoes day in a day out they will break down faster and you won't get as much out of them. --vans is a good indicator of size, yes --the white outsole will stay as clean as you allow it to. If you are getting mud and dirty on it, it will get dirty. If you are asking me if it turns yellow or looses it's whiteness, well no not really presuming you clean it regularly and don't let dirt/dust/mud etc set in. --and based on what you say, probably best to stay away from the suedes if you are getting mud on your shoes on a frequent basis. ....and if you want to get a suede, go for the dark brown one
from U.S, any exchanges allowed on this drop?
cvince
Not by Massdrop, no. By my company, well maybe in a special case and if i have enough of the exchange pair. But the client would have to pay the true costs of shipping for exchange
I have the Sebastien in 8 US with a good fit. Would you recommend 8(7 UK) or 8.5(7.5 UK)?
jjimmy
I would go for the UK7.5 as the Sebastien quite bigger
I wear UK 7 for dress shoes, but US 9 for Nike/Adidas. Should I stick with my dress shoes size or sneaker size or in between?

I wear US 8 for Alden suede chukka. My other dress shoes (Paul Smith, Ted Baker) are all EU 7. I Sounds like I should get EU 7.5?
wsksf
I would say so yes
J. Fitz at $130. I'm on these. I've got Wedgewoods and Tony II in UK 10. I guess I'll be ordering 10.5UK Wish the black calfskin was available too. I've said it before, we need another Wedgewood drop.
SodaSipper
psst. black calf alert. check website.
Mattg1027
$112.50! Pulling the trigger on them now. Thank your sir.
Are these shipped from US or EU for European customers? Already got a pair but at this price I have to get them in another colour. =)
saldot
shipping from Italy to Massdrop US warehouse, then from there to customers
I am a 9.5E (US). I have two pairs of Tricker's, the W2298 last 9UK fits roomy but great with a minimal insole, Stowe 4497 8.5UK is pinky toe tight. Alden's Trubalance fits pretty well in a 9D though maybe a touch narrow. Any advice on these? I'm leaning towards a 9UK (10US). I have a higher instep and some sneakers like this I've tried are narrow in the toe. Squished toes make me sad.
jcatl
Am thinking the UK9 as well based on what you say
J Fitzpatrick shoes at this price!? This is probably the best drop I've seen on this platform so far! Once I get paid this week I think I'm getting a pair!
Pluto-Fallen
Love to hear that!
AE 65 last: US8E and Loake capital last UK7 Stan smith US8.5 Great Royale: US8 Common Project Size 41. What size do u recommend?
Delta84
stick to your Stan Smith size
Do they come with the shoe trees?
kahc
no
I'm confused about the sizing. If these are sneakers why do I need to compare them to my dress shoe size? I'm not sure what size dress shoe I wear but I wear a size 10 sneaker. What size should I get for these? Thanks

I do wear vans sometimes and they are size 10.
LaneMeyer
Stick with that size then uk9/us10
LOL I literally went back and forth to JFitzpatrick website to purchase these, and lo and behold! Massdrop has this one at a very lowered price! I need sizing advice though, I wear 9.5 UK on most JF shoes. Will size 10UK fit me? I am wondering why the Black Calf one is not in here.....

Your opinion is understandable. Although, I don’t think I knit-picked these sneakers too harshly (scoring could use some work though). I’m a fairly reasonable guy which, is why I decided against contacting anyone about a refund based on the imperfections I noted. All-in-all, I’m looking forward to good things from my next pair.
WhiskeyTwoFour
fair enough. Hopefully at this price you feel you get a 5/5
