As someone who's purchased this exact pair directly from their online store a year ago, I can attest to their comfort levels for these loafers (you do have to get your size right though!). These are loafers you can walk in all day and never feel tired. In terms of quality though, I'm not too sure if mine's just the odd one or perhaps just the way I walked, but it began fraying at the topline within a couple of months (see image). I raised the issue to the store when I was considering a 2nd purchase, but they never got back to me on it. Other than that, I would recommend this pair. For suggested sizing, get something that fits quite snugly because it does expand in size after a few wears.

Ryushothank you for your feedback on our shoes. We actually responded to you but maybe the email got lost in cyberspace. I specifically remember telling my employee how to respond. I am sorry if it appeared as us blanking you, which we never do no matter how difficult the email.
From the thousands of loafers we have sold that have this top line piping, we have not had anyone show us a shoe that looked like this (or remotely close) which leads me to believe (also from the looks of the shoe in the picture) that you are quite hard on your shoes which is probably what caused this type of breakdown. Nonetheless, while I know that you were not complaining and I am not trying to say it's all your fault, just explaining what I feel is probably the cause of this. I appreciate the rest of your words and advice to others. Thank you

TheShoeSnobHi Justin, I actually just got a reply from your sales manager minutes after I sent my first post here. No worries, I sent that email during the sales period so it was probably also quite busy for you guys.
I actually suspected that it was just a one-off incident for the right shoe because my left has none of the fraying issues at all. But as I mentioned previously, the pair I had was so comfortable I sometimes skipped my schedule of alternating shoes just so I could wear them, so again possible that I might be harder on the shoes >.<. Seriously considering getting another pair in a different colour just so that I don't over wear them in future!
Again, I'd recommend this pair in terms of the comfort and style of this loafer. I've mentioned the comfort levels previously already. In terms of style, there aren't many penny loafers with a full saddle from sole to sole so it's a different style to the usual ones.
Ryushoyes, he told me that he sent one right after reading this comment, but I wanted to assure you that I remember vividly the day he got the email about a month and half/two months ago just so you know that we never blanked you.
Glad that despite the issue at hand that you enjoyed them a lot. If you do end up getting another pair, I suspect and hope that the issues does not happen again (maybe get two and rotate :-)
Thanks again
Justin
