I wear a 10D US in several pairs of the Allen Edmonds 65 Last and they fit great. I also have a pair of Alden LHS penny loafers I bought in 9.5D US that fit well. Otherwise I recently bought a pair of Carmina Inca last in 9E UK and it was too tight across the instep.
I'm thinking either the 8.5E UK or the 9E UK - was hoping for your input.

popocheeseif you tell me that you fit great in the 65 last in a US10D, then my inclination is to recommend our UK8.5E as most customers from MD have gone down from 65 last and said worked as same size (i.e. UK9 in your case) was too big.
