There's a customs charge if you get this shipped to Canada that brings the price a little too close to par with other sellers for my liking, but if you planned on getting the inks, anyway, fill yer boots (not with ink, though, probably).

Inks are exceptional, good package. Only disappointment is that Rouge Hematite came not as description. The bottle differs from the photos of the drop, it has red wax instead of gold and has different size and box compared to the other two.

enxhThey had an old stock, if you order on amazon it says you may get either the old or new version as they phase out the old bottles, the ink the exact same tho. I know because I've had my eye on buying some inks of this brand for a while now.

I've use the green and brown in a TWSBI 580 fountain pen, with a medium nib. They are very pretty, the brown more so than I expected. Downside is that the gold flecks can be very uneven, sometimes it's like I've stolen Donald Trump's pen (no idea what he really uses) because the line is solid gold when dry, other times, there are just a few sparkles. Also, they tend to settle (or, I should use my pens more often!).
I've gotten away with leaving them in my pen for weeks at a time, but, yes, I expect you'll need to clean your nibs and feeds more than you have been. My pens cleaned up without issue, usually I just refill them.
I feel a little mean dinging them for the inconsistency, I guess if you want that, use a dip pen, and stir every time.

Excellent inks, use for dipping whether sketching, drawing or calligraphy. I already had Chivor Emerald, so this collection helps expand the pallet. I’ve also used the inks with watercolors to show off its shimmer. Well packaged and arrived quickly. Thanks!

Great ink at a great price, but as mentioned in other comments it is not meant to left in pens lying dormant

Possibly my own fault for not taking the description closely enough, but they recommend not leaving these inks in your pen if you're not using it every day. I often go several days without using my pen, so using these inks would be a wasteful hassle.

Doctor_MemoryAs a horrible person, I've had the green in my pen for ages, then the brown. Doesn't seem to be a problem, though if you let the nib dry out, you might have to take the pen apart and clean it. I use my pen once or twice a week.

The J. Herbin 1670 ink is fantastic. The sheening and shimmering of the ink is beautiful. You will want to own every colour. I do and I am thrilled. In fact, I have ordered this drop twice.

A delightful, fully saturated ink. The problem is that it contains a glitter that doesn’t mix well with the ink, nor does it show particularly well even when it is mixed. One needs to shake the bottle well to distribute the glitter throughout the ink, and then fill the pen quickly. Then, one must continually shake the pen while writing in order to distribute the glitter so that it shows on the written word. Then, the worst problem: the glitter will thoroughly stick to every part of the feed and nib, making it necessary to remove the nib feed, and scrub nib and feed thoroughly. Other than that, it’s a great ink.
