Featuring a bowl case that calls to mind an ancient Roman tripod, the Jaquet Droz Grande Seconde SW has plenty of personality. The figure-eight-style dial has an oversized seconds subdial (where the watch gets its name) and an hours subdial with Roman numerals. The case is textured, which creates a different effect in the light when held at different angles. Inside the stainless steel case lies Jaquet Droz’s own 2663A-S 30-jewel movement, which delivers an impressive 68-hour power reserve. Both the front and back of the case are equipped with sapphire crystals to protect the precious components inside.
