I got mine for about a year now. Yesterday for some reason it auto power off and doesn't power on no matter what I do. Anyone having this issue as well?

I really want a pair of Bluebuds X but I dont know if massdrop is reliable or not ?Since I'm new to the site. I would really appreciate some feedbacks from people who have past experience with Massdrop. Thanks guy

Just my two cents here - I bought these from Amazon and I've had it for a year. The audio is fine, but the battery life has really degraded over time. I find myself charging these more than using them.

I've done a couple drops all of which have been up to my expectations. Do expect shipping times of up to a month depending on where you are. I find that I've never gotten a shipment later than a month here in Australia. However, if you're still having doubts about Massdrop, Amazon is selling the BBx for the same price as this drop (at time of posting).
I had some strong words about these, but I took a breath and decided to tell you about my experience. The firsts pair had about a 10 ft (or less) range before it started to drop. Then I noticed that even when I just put my phone in my front pants pocket, I get drops and skips. I called JayBird and then arranged for me to ship back the first pair and then sent me a new pair. New par is here but I now have the exact same problems. Also, two different people refused to talk to me on the phone using these because they say it sounds like I"m in a distant tin can. I'm going to try calling JayBird again, but I've resigned to chalking this one up to 100 bucks down the drain.

What phone are you using? My Galaxy Note 4 has the same problem But my sister's Iphone has no connection problem at all.

Hi Massdrop. They say third time is a charm. I tend to disagree. This is my third drop and 3 weeks later I have no product and no feedback. This is by definition a first world problem. You know, having the money to pay for a product and not receiving it yet. That said, I appreciate a little feedback from.support on delivery timing. I am giving this until Monday, at which time I will dispute the credit card charge and just buy these at a local retailer. Thanks in advance for a response of any kind. Cheers!

Still nothing... I'm thinking about disputing the charge.
Supposedly this shipped on the 9/18/15 through my personal transactions page but I've received nothing 19 days later. I also have had no answer from Massdrop after three emails/messages to support.
I do have a wonderful charge on my account though for product I haven't received or had any answers on. Please refund my purchase, I've already filed a dispute with my credit card company on this transaction.
Have sent two notes to Massdrop Support desk and received two automated emails saying to be patient that they are extremely busy. We are pushing 3 weeks and all I know is that I have a shipping label with no information. Any information on actual ship dates is greatly appreciated.
Any idea as to when I'll receive this item? I've contacted support 3 times and I've received no response at all.

Have had 4 pairs of these go haywire after a month or two.
Do these work with both Android and Apple devices?
Where do they ship from and how long should I expect them to take till they get to Germany?

Are these more expensive than the last time they dropped?
Is my warranty valid for this product meaning are you certified retailer? My bluebuds are interrupted every time and the range is less than impressive.
Not sure why you think they are inferior, but I wonder how much better it is? A friend of mine got the X2 and I have the original X.
Both the old and the new one have an 8 hour battery life, so no difference there. Signal Plus hasn't changed anything for the Bluetooth range. X-Fit is exactly the same as the older one. The ear wings on the X2 are better than the previous one and it also stays on the Bluebud much better than on the old X. They both have Liquipel.
Also, to me the new ones don't look as premium as the originals myself. My friends got the Blue and Red ones. I have the Camo original X.

Yours aren't defective - I too have the same problem. It looks like in the places where it cuts out like crazy, there is strong interference with the signal being pushed from your mobile phone(?) to the BlueBuds X that is causing the skipping. I stay in Singapore, and my music playback will cut / skip like crazy in certain areas, which is rectified the minute I pull out my mobile from my pant pockets and bring them closer to the BBX.
Got my Bluebuds X from the last drop and are very happy with them. Didn't actually end up saving that much money due the shitty Canadian exchange rate and also had to pay shipping taxes but either way I'm very happy with the product. Also a little disappointed that the X2 literally got announced days before I received them. Still a very incremental upgrade from the original though; minor battery bump, more color options, better eartip wings AND inclusion of Comply foam tips which is a MUST for any Bluebuds owner. Sounds crazy to spend $15 on in ear foam tips but they are worth every penny. Investing in Comply foam tips will make owning these already awesome wireless buds even better.
