Need some advice. What's the easiest way to use these as main speakers in a entertainment center setup. Basic receivers don't have pre outs, especially XLR pre outs. Need to connect to TV, XBOX, cable box, and a turntable.
I know using TV as hub can work, but it's kinda clunky. Any better options out there?

ziisYou need a preamp to control the volume and switching functions. XLR is not necessary as you can use an RCA>TRSorXLR cable into the LSR308s.
Does your turntable have a built in Phono Preamp? If not, you'll need a preamp with phono capability or buy an external phono preamp (I assume it has one built in since your are already using it).
If you already have a receiver, use it for switching sources and send one of the tape outs to a simple passive volume control like this (assuming you don't need remote volume control):

ziisBasic receivers dont have pre out, but any midrange and high end ones do.
The easiest and cleanest solution is to simply get a better receiver. Since you are spending money on some form of hardware either way. This also lets you upgrade to the newest 4k capable, hdr capable models at the same time.
Which model receiver do you currently have? Other options you can do really depend on what you already have
