I already ordered the purple but f#@$ it, I'm gonna grab a ruby one too. Does Massdrop at least combine shipping? Hahhahaha... everything counts.

only1loveDepends on the vendor I believe - I bought 2 Pumpkin keycaps from the Bazaar earlier this month and I had to pay 2x $7 shipping to Europe, I contacted the help desk and was told Massdrop doesn't really play a role in this and/or the people at the helpdesk don't have access to the information, I wasn't given specifics. I'd imagine 1 or 2 or even 3 keycaps won't be making a difference when it comes to the weight of the package so they should be able to be bundled together but again, they didn't explain it to me in detail.
That said I really can't decide between the purple and ruby one either, purple's my favourite colour but I'm tempted to think the Ruby one actually looks just as good (potentially better) even with my purple/pink/teal sets. T_T

VigrithThanks for the heads up, I'll send a note to support. I should've just bought all four from the start, right?
My main keyboard (DS3) and rig are magenta, so the purple was my instant pick. But the ruby is just plain gorgeous! There is really no wrong choice. Why don't you just get both? I see you haven't bitten (yet)...

only1loveI did bite already haha, my drops were set to private on this account it seems. I'll probably end up getting both, I already have a bunch of purple artisans so I really want the Ruby.
Also related to shipping, I tried editing the order to add another colour and by adding just 1 extra shipping went up from $8 to $10, so it's not double for this drop at least like it was for my pumpkins. Could always be different if you're within the US unlike myself though, so sending in the support note is probably the best idea.

VigrithStop it you two, I got the purple and am tempted by the ruby also, must resit. Vigrith, how much were the Pumpkins? Hoping they come round again on halloween this year.
I thought artisan keys were kind of stupid and only recently got a Ajazz rip off cherry blue (zorro) mechanical, I've ended up adding ebay o-rings to it (omg so glad I've done that, the sound and feel is much better), purchased the recent MSI mechanical with red led, ordered a sunshine set and gone full on into artisans (although to be fair how could you resist with this set), guess I've caught the keyboard addiction.

only1loveShipping is combined for this drop. $3.50, $7.75, $7.75 (again), $8.25 in the US of A from 1 to 4 keycaps respectively on my end. Feel free to double-check.
Also, no need to make a separate transaction (I guess shipping isn't combined if you have two separate orders?), as it is possible to directly edit the existing order from your transactions page. Tested by adding/removing additional keycaps multiple times (sorry MassDrop for messing about) to make sure shipping was adding up the same way.
search

Edit (8/1/16) If making the transaction via PayPal, the updated amount isn't reflected on PayPal's list of pending transactions. As a result when the drop ends, said pending transaction will not go through and MD will request that you check out again with your updated items. Not really an issue, but I'm sure less people will be alarmed with payment issue warnings if we were asked to re-do the transaction when any changes are made to the original one. Someone could forget to visit the website or check their email and possibly end up losing their purchase or something by not addressing it in a timely manner when a drop ends.

esquimoLike $6 for each Pumpkin and $7 shipping which sounds a little silly but I'm sure the shipping will be much more reasonable within the US.
Artisan keycaps are easy to get addicted to, most of them are so unique and cool in their own way that you end up wanting to collect them as they are released (don't go on GeekHack or you'll be doomed even further) even if you don't "need" them. I know a lot of people who like o-rings, I personally am not very fond of them with the keyboards I currently use (WhiteFox and MagicForce 68%).

WaahThanks so much for taking the time to write this out for me. I should've gone to my transactions to check. REALLY APPRECIATE IT, though the only way I can express it online is a thumbs up....
So... I only "really" save on shipping if I order 3-4 hahaha.

only1loveIt's OK. Learned something new from poking around and made an excuse to buy the blue one.

WaahInformative post, thank you. Seems to be $7.75, $10, $12, $14 for me, not that big of a difference compared to the heftier purchases like audio related products and whatnot.

VigrithThanks. Reasonable overseas shipping rate for two when compared to US if one can look past the $3.50 for one keycap deal... Comparisons aren't good for the mind.
Regardless of that fact, getting two might make sense if there's a cool person to gift one to!
