Support for Alternative Layouts
This is a summary of how alternative layouts have been supported by kits such as Colevrak and Homing. It is not a discussion of alt layout performance and development, but if that interests you I highly recommend starting with Pascal Getreuer’s A guide to alt keyboard layouts (why, how, which one?). Lastly, no one is forcing you to buy it, kind of like no one forces you to buy Pepsi or McDonald's or whatever junk you eat and drink and s..... Since all of them label and slam their logos all over your face.
Imagine seeing an artwork having a BIG, in-your-face artist's name next to his piece of art work. Doesn't make sense does it, yet Gallery artists fight and couldn't be more eager to promote themselves.
"Why would keycap maker not display their logo?" Who say they shouldn't? Not like this vulgar okay? Take a look at Click Clack's, arguably the most successful brand out there - has subtlest brand stamp know to man.
