I'm quite pleased with the quality of this flashlight. It's quite good.
I'm carrying this in my front pocket for EDC. IMO, it's miles better than those little rechargeable keychain lights, whether it's the Nitecore Tube, or one of those fancy little copper or stainless steel USB rechargeable ones.
Those lights are great for what they are. But they output a limited amount of light and are good as a casual or last ditch source of light.
But if you really want to find something in a pile of rubble, for example, or need to root around in a pile of similar looking construction material or tools in a dark place, a brighter light like this one is much, much better.
So for work, I'm done with those little keychain lights. I need to have something with at least an AA battery, or two AAAs, perhaps. The smaller keychain lights are just to dim for my needs.
This has a good build, surprisingly nice. But it's not so precious and expensive like an Olight or larger Nitecore or Jetbeam, that you'll be OK using it in rough situations.
It's been perfect for me in that way.
I bought two of these during a previous drop, but as everyone has mentioned, you may be able to find a better price elsewhere.
