Very distant customer service...
So I received my Jetbeam flashlight and promptly began using it daily. Months later the rubber cover on the button came off in my pocket. The button mechanism fell out of the flashlight body and no amount of re-engineering could make it functional. I reached out to Drop and found that they did no direct customer service for the items they sold. They did give me an email for the manufacturer, in China. I dutifully emailed them and eventually received a response. They were willing to replace the light, if I returned the defective unit. I did so and the waiting began. Months later, I again emailed the customer rep with which I corresponded and asked what happened with my flashlight. They said they were waiting for the shipment to arrive from China, via ship. Nearly two months later, my new flashlight finally arrived. It's been working fine and I'm satisfied with it. Word to the wise: don't expect prompt service from this manufacturer.

Disappointing
Misleading product. In the packaging, they mention that it comes with a spare Rubber Tail cap cover (which did arrive). THIS FLASHLIGHT DOES NOT OFFER A TAILCAP SWITCH! Why would you offer a spare item of something that is not even on the product? My only guess is to catch people off guard. I lost this flashlight not long after getting it, I frankly I really did not give AF as I was so unhappy with this item.

Pros: Nice and bright with different levels. Cons: Power switch on side is a poor location. I keep it in my backpack in an exterior pocket and a couple of times I opened it to find the flashlight on and extremely hot, can you say fire hazard? Have to take the battery out to prevent that from happening.

One of the best flashlights that I have bought. I take the flash light camping and use it when I am working on cars etc... great size for the belt and USB rechargeable if you use a rechargable battery. I will be buying a few more of these when they come back up for another Massdrop.

The light works excellent, and works perfectly. My complaint is with the design: I needed a flashlight that I could reach for in the dark, and turn it on in a hurry. The rubber button is flush with the handle, which is difficult to feel for, and easy to mistake for the rubber stopper on the charger, delaying the process.
The button must be held down for the light to work, unless it is tapped for blink. If something went bump in the night, or a storm caused a branch to go through the roof, I would want something that is a lot more intuitive to use in a pinch.

Very bright as advertised. However, 2 problems. 1: You can't focus the beam. So, at a few yards distance it becomes very wide and negates the power of the beam. 2: The on/off button is not intuitive and hard to easily find in the dark. Had I physically handled the torch prior to buying I would not have made the purchase.

I love this flashlight! Only complaint is it is too bright at its highest setting. Fits in my pocket, the attached lanyard is nice. More than satisfied.

I'm changing my review because my flashlight button is malfunctioning and burned burned though my expensive backpack. I actually got a reply back from my complaint to Jetbeam asking for more info. It's a nice flashlight but the button is poorly designed and doesn't have a tail switch. This is the only thing I've complained about that I got from Drop and have bought a lot of items.
