Just got mine too, NO BATTERY.
I also received a rubber button in mine, looks like it's supposed to attach to the back of the light? Not happening but maybe it's me.

BrandonBFrom reading the instructions it looks like a former model had the button on the end & we got an extra in case it wears out. Guess they forgot to send a memo to the packaging dept? Lol
