I've owned one of Jiusko's sports watches, and it was a pretty good example of the better finished watches coming out of Asia these days. It had a Seiko automatic movement, and had been regulated to perform with very high accuracy, which is unusual at this price point; case construction was very good as well.

I have 4 Jiusko watches and all perform well for me. My oldest is about two years old. and two of the watches are worn at least weekly. The Jiusko tourbillon is saved for special occasions. Plus, Jiusko customer support seems to be honest and timely, although I've had no personal need for it. All have sapphire crystals, one has a ceramic bezel, the cases are all solid and the straps and bracelets are better than many OEMs.

Chinese band watch. Not made in China, 100% Chinese establishment. You decide.

Yeah not seeing any good watch drops of late... Most reviews peg this one as an unknown Chinese company using a stock Citizen movement... The movement is not bad but the build quality on the rest of the piece is really an unknown. Not worth $250-ish for an unknown company.

ProfessorQuarxYou are absolutely right. Very same in Hong Kong market for $40-$70. Wander why Massdroop present us something like that?

SubaruSo do Maratac watches... should be around $70 -the same Chinese manufacturing and even lower end Citizen movement. The build quality and parts used in Jusko watch look much much better: machined polished case, sophisticated 3D guilloche dial with applied subdials and hour markers, glass back, leather strap with branded polished deployment buckle. Maratac watches assembled from OEM parts that you can buy for cheap on eBay including case, glass, crown, etc.

I'm not too familiar with this brand; from what I gather they are a fairly new Chinese company. That in itself isn't a deal breaker, but I'm always skeptical of products that are marked up in price artificially to give the appearance of a great deal (MSRP $1115? More like $350!).
Anyone have experience with other watches by this maker? Does the band hold up well with use? Does it keep accurate time?

NastyNateYeah, I agree that MSRPs can be misleading, however it is something entirely decided by the manufacturer as the appropriate retail price. Obviously, we would never sell this watch at the manufacturer's suggested retail price.
The strap is pretty average for any entry level watch that comes out of Asia. The strap is on par with large global brands with some degree of manufacturing or assembling in Asia, such as Seiko or Bulova. The case is made out of industry standard 316L stainless steel, which is used on the vast majority of watches. Basically the case and sapphire glass is the same material as any other watch. The movement is from Citizen Miyota and it is assembled in Japan, so accuracy is pretty good.
