Handmade by J.L. Lawson, the disk-shaped Spin Coin looks like a flying saucer, and spins like one too. Its solid brass body features knurling on the edges for grip and is fitted with a 1/8-inch ceramic bearing, which can deliver spin times of eight minutes or more with practice. Keep it on your coffee table, in the workshop, or in your pocket—it’s a great conversation starter and an EDC oddity.

About J.L Lawson & Co.
For Anthony Lawson, machining is a family affair. His grandfather—the namesake of J.L. Lawson & Co.—opened his first machine shop in 1950. Without the assistance of CNC computer technology, he taught the craft of hand-machining to his three sons. Today, under the guidance of his father, Anthony is learning the trade himself. J.L.
