Does the HDMI/DP output actually work on the Macbook USB-C devices? Specifically the 2016 model. I've tried 3-4 different manufacturers attempts at making these kind of devices, and in all of them the HDMI/DP video component either doesn't work at all, disconnects frequently, or color casts the screen. Only the higher end [and far more expensive] models seem to function correctly.
What's the guarantee on this? If the video doesn't work and I just going to be SOL?

dnovoselYes the HDMI/DP output will work on the Macbook USB-C devices for most normal displays HDMI ect. but the display port is not compatible with cinema displays. Cheers!

JaysunSee the terms "most normal displays" worries me. That's what pretty much all the other similar ones I have tried have said. But then you get the product and it doesn't work properly. I'm lucky in general as I've been using Amazon to purchase the items so they are easy to return. I'm worried that with MD I'll just be throwing money away.
What does as normal display mean? Will this work on say Samsung TVs? LG monitors? How many permutations has this been tested with? And is that information available anywhere?
And by Cinema displays, what do you mean exactly? Do you have model numbers? Does DP support using adapters for HDMI / DVI / VGA output? Can you provide specific references on testing that has been completed.
Sorry for being so precise here, but I think it's fair to both myself and the community to ensure this product works as advertised, when a large amount of the competition is producing inferior devices that don't work or fail early.
Thanks!

dnovoselNo worries, I should have been more precise in my answer.
Let me contact the vendor and ask these specific question and I will have an answer for you by EOD 11/17.
One question that I have is what type of monitor are you working with now or is this research for a future purchase? Either way I will have more information for you tomorrow.
Cheers!

Jaysun@JaySun Thanks for responding, I appreciate the efforts on your part. The questions are so I can make a decision on purchasing during this round if everything checks out.
My current main monitors are the LG 25UM58-P and the Asus PA246Q. I am also considering buying the LG 34UM88C-P so support for that model also interests me.
dnovoselJuiced Systems Support Team here,
The BizHUB ( DOC-01, HDMI docking station..) Has been tested with the 2016 Macbook and works great. Same with all of the MBA-02 & MBA-03 Models (miniDP ports) All tested and work fine without issue.
For the mini display port adapter (MBA-03) This model is NOT compatible with APPLE CINEMA DISPLAYS specifically.. The adapters work with ANY standard miniDP monitor. We are suppose to have an APPLE CINEMA DISPLAY version available by the end of the month. Stay tuned if you have a cinema display..

JuicedSystems@JuicedSystems Thanks again for looking into this. I am thinking I will now pull the trigger on one of these, and I am hopeful things will work out well!
